Bradford City doubts at left back
Bradford City have delayed their final choice between Ferguson and Coupland for the left-back position in tonight's West Riding Senior Cup semi-final with Leeds United at Valley Parade (6.30). Ferguson injured a knee at Oldham in the League match last night, and it will not be known until just before the start of the game if he will be fit. Otherwise the team, the same as which gained a point at Boundary Park, will be as follows:-
Hyde; Whyte, Ferguson or Coupland; Williamson, Conroy, McGill; McCulloch, Millar, Connor, Gray, Kendall.
The winners meet Bradford in the final.

City earned a replay
BRADFORD C. 2 LEEDS UN. 2
With an equalising goal through Connor scored thirty seconds from time, Bradford City deservedly earned a replay in the semi-final of the West Riding Senior Cup at Valley Parade last night. A goal down after twelve minutes when Harrison headed through Stevenson's cross, City fought back and after McGill had driven a free-kick against the crossbar, they equalised through a Gray header seven minutes after the interval. Five minutes later full-back Ferguson put through his own goal when trying to steer away Stevenson's centre to give Leeds United the lead. Connor hit a post twelve minutes from time but forced home the equaliser from McCulloch's pass. The replay will be at Elland Road on Monday.

Kirk brilliant in United 2-2 draw
Leeds United and Bradford City replay their West Riding Senior Cup semi-final - drawn 2-2 at Valeey Parade last night - at Elland Road on Monday (6.45), and a distinctly interesting game it ought to be (wries PHIL BROWN). There was not much between the sides last night - what there was was in United's favour - for City's advantage of being at home on the heavy pitch was just about neutralised by their having to play a League game at Oldham the previous evening. Nor was their luck in. McGill hit United's bar with a rasping free-kick, Connor a post with a close-in shot, and Ferguson scored United's second goal through getting foot-fast in the muddy goalmouth and kicking into his own net, a harmless centre from Williams. But United's forwards, all of whom had useful matches, wingers Williams and Harrison, especially, always looked the more dangerous. Kirk was positively brilliant at centre-half for United.
